Olympic Trial Qualifier & NCAA All American Bukola "Buky" Bamigboye Joins Monét Public

We're so excited to announce our new client and Olympic Trial Qualifier Bukola "Buky" Bamigboye!

Team-captain of track and field at Georgetown University, the heptathlete began in High School as a Junior Olympic Champion and an "All-State Player of the Year" nominee in Soccer. In college, she placed 3rd in the heptathlon at the USA Jr. National Track & Field Championships, was an NCAA All-American , All BIG EAST, All ECAC honors and won a PENN Relays heptathlon championship. In 2008, she was the youngest Olympics Trial qualifier in her event, at only 19 years old. A well rounded athlete and social justice advocate, she received awards such as BIG EAST and NCAA “All Academic Honors”, Georgetown’s BIG EAST Athlete- Scholar of the Year, the Lena Landagger Award for community service and the Tropia Award- given during Georgetown graduation ceremony.

During January 2015, Buky took the first step of her Olympic-hopeful journey and started training for the heptathlon. Help us cheer her on by following her new Instagram page: @bukygetsfit.
